My office

I practice general medicine as a private entrepreneur at my home office. My unhurried and peaceful office is a humane and reasonably priced option for patients suffering from various chronic and acute illnesses and issues. I also conduct health assessments for various purposes, such as medical statements.

In clinical practice, I apply evidence-based and generally accepted guidelines in primary-level medical diagnostics and treatment. A careful interview and physical examination form the foundation of diagnostics in my practice. Currently, I also perform some rapid blood tests (CRP and blood sugar) and urine dipstick tests at my office. For more comprehensive laboratory and medical imaging tests, I will provide a referral for the patient to undergo tests elsewhere. I direct or refer patients requiring specialized expertise to appropriate specialist physicians.

Appointments to my office can be booked here. Please book an appointment long enough so that your issues can be taken care of properly: for simple problems and acute ailments, 30 minutes is usually adequate, but for general health check-ups and long-standing issues, for example, a 60-minute appointment is necessary. I also accept appointments over the phone, although I may not always be available.

Comprehensive medication assessment

Over time, prescriptions from both public and private healthcare can accumulate into a lengthy list of drugs, the overall picture of which may not be entirely clear to anyone. It can be unclear, for example, whether a prescribed drug is intended for temporary or long-term use, whether a new drug is meant to replace an old one or complement the treatment, and whether the drug is currently more beneficial or harmful. All drugs can cause side effects, but often, an alternative drug better tolerated by the patient can be found. As the number of drugs increases, the risk of drug interactions also grows, and sometimes, by adjusting the medication, potentially hazardous interactions can be removed.

The physician’s appointment can be supplemented with a comprehensive medication assessment, in which I thoroughly evaluate the indications, side effects, and potential interactions of the drugs the patient is taking, and make a drug therapy plan with maximum benefit and minimum harm. I conduct the comprehensive medication assessment based on the best available information: I scrutinize medical literature and databases, and if necessary, consult with specialist physicians.
