I am a physician and medical researcher based in Turku. As a physician, I have work experience primarily in general medicine, but also in geriatrics and psychiatry. I have worked both in public and private healthcare, both at outpatient clinics and inpatient wards.
In my medical practice, my goal is to gain a comprehensive understanding of each patient’s individual situation. I examine my patients thoroughly, and I take the time to address their illnesses and other concerns. I aim to find sustainable solutions to my patients’ ailments.
Currently, my primary employment is researching the interactions of blood pressure drugs, and teaching at the University of Turku. I am also a specialising physician in clinical pharmacology and pharmacotherapy. Drug treatment, with its various challenges, is a particular interest of mine.
